I Met My Best Friend - 999 Words

I met my best friend when I was about six years old in the first grade. We did not have class together but our sisters were the same age as each other and that’s how we became friends. Another reason we became friends was because we actually lived really close to each other. Though our sisters never remained friends that never hurt Maggie’s and I friendship. In elementary school we did have other friends of course but we would constantly hang out with each other. We became almost like sisters living so close and spending so much time together formed a very amazing friendship. Maggie and I were two different types of people she was always very care free in the world and I was a mommy’s girl and never tried to do anything that would make her mad, but our differences never bothered us. Middle school came around and our friend group as expanded. Maggie became the good student with good grades and I was a shy girl who would not attend school very much. We shared the s ame friends but as time went on a small drifted was occurring. By the end of 8th grade we still did not have issues on the things that did not mix in the friendship but it was blindsided. Freshmen year of high school made us grow up since we since we entered a new chapter in our life. We both joined field hockey together and met other girls on the team whom we grew a big bond with.
